At home in Cavan on a night out and the rest was history!
Our proposal…
Padraic proposed on the beach in Dubai. I thought we were going to Tenerife on holidays and he surprised me with a trip to Dubai when we arrived at the airport!
Our wedding theme/colours…
The bridesmaids dresses were from Dessy and the colour was Bordeaux. Our wedding was in December and it snowed so we had a white wedding!
My dress…
My dress was by Calla Blanche and I got it in RK Bridal in New York while on a trip over to visit my mum who lives there.
My hair and makeup…
My makeup was by Deirdre O’Reilly and Gemma Carolan at Déjà Vu, Cavan did my hair. Super talented ladies!
His suit…
Padraic’s suit was from Magee’s on South Anne Street in Dublin.
Our ceremony…
Our ceremony was in St. Joseph’s Church, Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan.
We chose our wedding photographer because…

We didn’t have one – I was the wedding coordinator!

Irene and the team in the Cavan Crystal Hotel are outstanding and make everything so much easier.
Our honeymoon…
was in South Africa and Mauritius, finished off with a skydive in Dubai on the way home!
My favourite part of the wedding day…
was the snow and the speeches! The snow was magical and the speeches were hilarious and heart felt!
